What made me decide to officiate weddings? It all started back in 2006 when a friend of mine asked whether I’d consider “marrying” him and his wife. For some reason, I agreed to his request, and I guess you could say the rest is history!
Meeting with and getting to know the couples I have the privilege of officiating for is one of my favourite parts of the wonderful world of weddings. I love how unique every couple is. I’d have to say a close second is the actual facilitation of a fully customized ceremony – one that reflects my couples to the best of my ability. The emotion, joy and love I get to be part of helps remind me just how fortunate I am to take part in the weddings I officiate.
I have been married since 1993, have three children, a son-in-law, and one granddaughter – they are the pride and joy of my life.
My passions outside of the wedding world include the great outdoors, music, reading, writing, food, wine, and travel. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and am always up for a spontaneous adventure!
Having grown up overseas and having had the joy of traveling to many countries and continents, I have developed a deep passion for various cultures and customs.
I look forward to meeting you!
